Quantron AG and Ford Trucks have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to explore a joint development opportunity, which will see Quantron’s technology, known as “Quantron Inside,” used in Ford Trucks’ vehicles. The primary focus of this partnership is to accelerate the market introduction of hydrogen fuel cell trucks, specifically based on Ford’s F-Max model.

Quantron offers a range of advanced technologies, including an effective range, innovative e-axle, high-power battery solutions, fuel cell technology, tank integration, energy management, and optimised aerodynamics. These technologies will be assessed for their compatibility with Ford Trucks’ commercial vehicles to facilitate cleaner transportation options.
