The IAA Transportation 2022, Europe’s biggest commercial vehicle exhibition, was held in Hanover in September. The key theme of the event was sustainability and the journey to a carbon zero industry. All the truck manufacturers present (and of the big seven European legacy truck builders only Renault Trucks was absent) were showing off their battery electric and fuel cell credentials, while the new start-up manufacturers and component suppliers were getting in on the act. We took a tour of the show and also dropped in on many of the conference presentations and panel discussions and have compiled some of our highlights for you to review.
