Built on the Axial Flux Motor Platform FLUX350, Tresa Motors aims to cater to the global market with its latest offering.

The Tresa Motors’ Model V0.1 appears to have drawn inspiration from the Tesla Cybertruck. While it stands out from other vehicles in the Indian market, the company has indicated that the final production version will likely feature a more toned-down styling. The truck boasts an edgy aesthetic, complemented by a matte black paint scheme, slim ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), and large vertically stacked LED headlamps.

Tresa Motors recognises the pressing need for zero-emission medium and heavy trucks in India. With approximately 2.8 million trucks contributing to 60% of emissions, the company’s electric truck aims to address these environmental concerns. The upcoming vehicle scrappage policy in 2024 and the escalating fuel prices further underline the favorable conditions for transitioning to electric trucks.

“The journey to the official launch of Tresa’s Model V0.1 and the development of our Axial Flux Motor platform has been nothing short of extraordinary. Today, I am happy to say that I have the backing of some of the industry’s most revered and experienced people who have joined Tresa’s team to accelerate its journey!” said Rohan Shravan, Founder CEO of Tresa Motors.

The Axial Flux Motor technology (FLUX350) utilised in the Model V0.1 delivers a continuous power output of up to 476 PS. Known for their compact size and lightweight nature, Axial Flux motors have gained recognition. Tresa Motors proudly asserts that this technology has been entirely developed in India, showcasing the country’s capabilities in electric vehicle innovation.

Tresa Motors has confirmed that the Model V0.1 electric truck will be launched in the second quarter of FY2023, offering a promising addition to India’s evolving electric vehicle market.
