Recently, the LKAB mine in Malmberget, in northern Sweden, began using an electric Scania heavy tipper. Scania has the opportunity to test and use completely electric vehicles in a challenging underground mining environment thanks to this customer-close development.

The electric heavy tipper, which has a load weight of 49 tonnes, delivers leftover goods. In the mining business, it is the first of its sort.
