Milence will open its first truck charging hub at Venlo in November

Milence has announced its first truck recharging hub will officially open in Venlo, the Netherlands, at the end of November.

The new charging hub will consist of four charging bays, offering up to 400kW charging power, and is located at a new truck stop, Truck Parking Venlo. According to a post on LinkedIn the company says “this is an important milestone in our journey to accelerate the transition to sustainable transport. Venlo is one of Europe’s leading logistics hubs and ideally positioned for international trade. With the new Milence Charging Hub, Truck Parking Venlo will be the first secure truck parking facility in the Netherlands to offer a charging solution for electric trucks.”

The two new chargers, supplying the four charging lanes, are believed to be HYC400 units, supplied by Alpitronics. Milence indicates there will be additional chargers added to the site in Q1 2024.
