Designwerk Technologies AG, a Swiss electromobility specialist, has expanded its market position in Europe by offering mobile fast chargers for commercial vehicles in Sweden through its new sales partner, Svensk Fordonsladdning. The mobile DC fast charging solutions from Designwerk provides fast and stable charging cycles with power ranging from 22 to 88 kilowatts and up to 1000 volts. Due to the integrated cable changing system, customers can conveniently switch between different charging standards. The mobile charging solutions can be used exactly where customers need them, directly on the commercial vehicle.

The demands on the charging infrastructure are increasing due to the rapid pace at which electromobility is being driven forward in Sweden. With this expansion, Designwerk aims to meet the increasing demand for zero-emission drive technologies and expand its market position in Europe, while the Swedish partner expands its product portfolio with the mobile charging solutions.

Svensk Fordonsladdning is a leading supplier of complete solutions for fast DC charging systems. The portfolio includes charging solutions for companies and municipalities. With the new transportable chargers, the Swedish trading partner can offer charging solutions directly on the commercial vehicle, where customers need them. The charging station in container format, the Mega Charger, enables fast charging of heavy trucks within 45 minutes.

At present, maintenance and repair of the equipment are carried out by the service center in Lottstetten, Baden, but the company plans to have the service center in Sweden in the medium term. The distribution of the Mega Charger is also planned locally. As Robert Nilsson, CEO of Svensk Fordonsladding, explains, “Due to the close cooperation with Designwerk, we are able to expand our offering with a world-leading product in this field. We are already experiencing strong demand for Designwerk’s quality products, especially the mobile DC chargers.”
